Apart from cultural and historical heritage, Biograd is also characterized by nice beaches, picturesque bays, marinas, and various entertainment facilities. The town has a great number of excellent restaurants offering specialties of local and international cuisine.
Most Biograd beaches are awarded with “Blue flag” – the high ecological standard reward which has to be justified repeatedly each year.
Most popular beaches are:
- Dražica (5 minutes walk from Apartments Cala),
- Điga (5 minutes walk from Apartments Cala),
- Soline (14 minutes walk from Apartments Cala) and
- Bošana (14-20 minutes walk from Apartments Cala).
If you prefer secluded beaches, we recommend daily trips to nearby islands Pašman or Vrgada. Cheap local ferry lines or small rented boats can take your family on a swimming trip. For long distance navigations we recommend organized excursions.
Biograd is the centre of the Riviera consisting of St. Petar, Turanj, St. Filip i Jakov, Biograd, Pakoštane and Drage, as well as of several places on the island of Pašman: Tkon, Kraj, Pašman, Barotul, Mrljane, Nevidjane, Dobropoljana, Banj and Zdrelac, and Vrgada on the island of Vrgada.
